This magical Christmas show is performed in the Radio City Music Hall. The holiday season around Christmas is one of the best times to spend in New York City. During the Christmas Spectacular, you’ll be transported to a wonderful Christmas world full of magical festive stories, spectacular dance moves performed by the Rockettes, and of course the ‘The Parade of the Wooden Soldiers’. For this act, the Rockettes are dressed like wooden soldiers and fall over like dominoes during the performance. A special and unforgettable act!

What are the best seats at the Rockettes Christmas Spectacular?

The most important thing to know about seating at Radio City Musical Hall is that all seats are good seats. Even if you decide to purchase the cheapest tickets, seeing the show live is still a great experience. But of course, you will experience the show differently from seats at the front in the middle than from seats at the very back of the auditorium, for example.

Here is my advice for choosing the best seats for the Rockettes:

• MY TIP – Orchestra section 3 or 5, rows A to E: I prefer these seats. They are often slightly cheaper than the rows in front and much cheaper than the Orchestra section 4.

• Orchestra sections 2 to 6: The seats at the front of the auditorium (rows AA-ZZ) are the best, but also the most expensive. If you choose seats one category lower (from row A), you won’t pay the full price, but the seats are still very good. I prefer seats further forward towards the side to seats further back in the middle.

• First and Second Mezzanine: These balcony seats also offer a great view of the show and are a good alternative to the Orchestra.

• Orchestra sections 1 and 7: These two sections are located at the outer edges of the auditorium. Because you are sitting very close to the side here, I would not recommend these seats.

• Third Mezzanine: The rear balcony is very high. These seats therefore offer the least favourable view of the Rockettes. Are these the only seats within your budget? Then I still recommend purchasing these tickets, because even from these seats, the show is a wonderful experience. However, if your budget allows, it is more interesting to purchase seats in another part of the auditorium.
