FAQ

New York has five boroughs, with Manhattan being the best-known.

Most New York boroughs are generally safe, but if you're looking for the best place to stay, I would recommend choosing Manhattan. Not just for safety, but also because it’s the area with the most sights.

There's no official count of this, but the estimate is 250-300 neighbourhoods across all five boroughs. Manhattan has 50 to 60 neighbourhoods, depending on which smaller sub-neighbourhoods you include.

If it fits your budget, Midtown Manhattan is a great place to stay, as there are many sights and attractions located here.
