Located in the American Dream Mall, Nickelodeon Universe is a fully indoor amusement park with attractions for all ages. It is the largest indoor amusement park in the Western Hemisphere, and the rides have impressive names like Jimmy Neutron’s Atom Smasher, Kraang Prime Pandemonium, The Shredder and SpongeBob’s Jellyfish Jam. There are rides to suit all ages, from gentle car rides and merry-go-rounds for young children to exciting roller coasters and drop towers for older children.

Activities for the whole family

Maybe the name ‘Nickelodeon’ makes you think of small children, but Nickelodeon Universe is much more than that. There are several roller coasters that go upside down and backwards. Even adults leave Nickelodeon with trembling legs! Nickelodeon Universe is really a park for the whole family, where toddlers, teenagers (and their parents) will have a great time.

Combining Nickelodeon Universe Tickets

There are also other attractions, besides the Nickelodeon Universe in American Dream. Therefore, it is fun to spend your whole day here and to visit several places. You can combine your trip with the swimming paradise DreamWorks Water Park for example, and you’ll have a varied day that offers a completely different experience than the rest of your New York trip.

A good plan is to start at Nickelodeon, where two to four hours are enough to do all the attractions you like a few times. After that, you can walk to DreamWorks and swim for a few more hours. For both parks, the rule is: the earlier, the quieter. Wherever you go first, start early so that you are ahead of the crowds.

As the shops of the mall are close by, the children can for example go to the amusement park, while, in the meantime, the parents are shopping. Children 14 years and older are allowed to enter the park unaccompanied.”

How to get to Nickelodeon Universe?

On Saturdays, Sundays and national holidays, the direct NJ Transit bus 355 runs often from Port Authority to American Dream. On weekdays, there are only a few buses, so you might have to transfer once to another NJ Transit bus in New Jersey. You can also take a ride share.
