New York Sightseeing Flex Pass

New York Sightseeing Flex Pass

The New York Sightseeing Flex Pass is a flexible discount pass for New York. Use this pass to visit New York’s popular attractions at your own pace. As well as being cheaper, the Sightseeing Flex Pass is easier to use, especially in comparison to buying tickets separately for all attractions. You only pay for the pass, so there are no extra charges at the attractions.

Please note: The Sightseeing Pass has unfortunately been discontinued due to financial difficulties. If you have recently purchased a Sightseeing Pass, please contact me at eric@newyork.co.uk.

A good alternative for the Flex Pass is the Explorer Pass.

What can you see and do with the Sightseeing Flex Pass?

Buy a Sightseeing Flex Pass for 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 or 12 attractions and you will have 60 days to visit them all. Create your own itinerary by choosing your favourites from 13+ attractions and tours! Find the full list here.

For example, choose the Hop on Hop off Bus: a 2-day ticket for the Uptown and Downtown routes counts as one attraction. You can board right away by showing your pass at the first stop of the route.

With the Sightseeing Flex Pass, you can visit the Empire State Building, Edge, take a sightseeing cruise and go to the American Museum of Natural History, for example. Other options in the pass include bike tours and bike rentals. You can also use the pass for a return trip to the Woodbury Common Outlet or opt for lunch. In addition, the Sightseeing Pass is the only discount pass with a transfer from one of the New York airports to Manhattan.

9/11 Museum

As the 9/11 Museum is not included in this pass, you can buy a ticket with time slot separately. This will allow you to visit the museum at your preferred time, ensuring entry and preventing your schedule from getting bogged down by long queues at one of the busiest attractions in New York. Buy your 9/11 Museum tickets here.

How does the Sightseeing Flex Pass work?

Purchase the New York Sightseeing Flex Pass easily online, before you travel. You’ll receive a voucher with a QR code, which is your pass. You can show it at the attractions, on your phone, to get in. You can visit an attraction once. I recommend printing the pass as well, so you have a paper copy, just in case. You can also download a digital guide. It contains information on the tours and attractions and tells you how to use the pass at each one.

There’s no need to decide beforehand which attractions to visit; just decide what you want to do when you’re in New York. So, maximum flexibility for a minimum price! A change of plans? A Cancellation Cover is automatically added at checkout, allowing you to cancel your unused pass free of charge for up to 12 months after purchase.

About Eric » Eric’s Tip: “The Sightseeing Flex Pass gives you the flexibility to visit a variety of popular New York attractions at your own pace. Do you prefer to turn up the tempo and visit as many attractions as possible during your stay? Then it’s better to choose the New York Sightseeing Day Pass. You just decide how many days you want in advance and then can see and do as many things as you like, within that time.”

Sightseeing Economy Pass

The New York Sightseeing Pass also offers an ‘Economy Flex Pass’ option. It’s a cheaper version of the Sightseeing Flex Pass with fewer attractions included in your list of choices. The Economy Pass is aimed at those who have already visited most of New York’s top sights and want to see other things during their trip to New York. You can read more about it and check the list of attractions and tours here.
