The Phantom of the Opera
A man wearing a mask lives in secret beneath the Paris Opera House. He wears it because his face is disfigured and he does not dare show it to the world. When he hears the young Christine singing, he falls in love with her and gives her singing lessons. Christine believes the man is an angel sent by her late father.
The Phantom becomes entangled in his feelings for Christine, and, driven by jealousy, he forces her to choose between him and her childhood sweetheart, Raoul.

During the performance, you will, as it were, walk right through the play. This means you won’t be assigned specific seats. Each room tells a part of the story. You become part of the play.
Important to know
- Dress code: Formal or cocktail attire in black, white or silver, with a mask. If you do not bring your own mask, you will be given one free of charge on arrival. If you do not arrive in the correct colours, you will be given a jacket to wear on the spot.
- Shoes: Do not wear heels, as you will be going up and down stairs and escalators.
- Health: You will be standing and walking around for most of the evening; seating is limited. Please bear this in mind.
- Tickets work differently: You book a date and an entry time. 24 hours before the event starts, you will receive an email directly from Masquerade containing your personal password, which serves as your ‘ticket’. You will not, therefore, receive a standard ticket with a barcode.
