The best way to celebrate New Year’s Eve in New York and see the fireworks is on the water. Trust me, you don’t want to be on Times Square when the ball drops. You’ll be waiting in the cold to count down for 10 seconds at midnight. There are no bathrooms, and finding an after-party isn’t easy: all the bars and clubs charge a premium.
