Day Trip to The Hamptons

You will depart in the early morning by bus from Manhattan to The Hamptons. Along the way you will pass the expensive houses of famous people and your guide will tell you all about life in The Hamptons. In Sag Harbor, you can admire the “toys” of the rich. Alongside smaller boats, large luxury yachts dock in the harbour. The village, which is a few minutes’ walk away, is typically American. Here you can walk by the shops and have lunch, giving you a true Hamptons experience.

If you can’t find what you were looking for in the villages, you might find it at the next stop. The last stop of the trip is the Tanger Outlets, where you can find all kinds of discounted clothing, bags or shoes. After this stop, you travel back to Manhattan.

Eric’s Tip: “This day trip is very relaxed. You will see different sides of The Hamptons and only need to get on the bus. Despite the fact that The Hamptons seem to be close to Manhattan, it is practically impossible to visit the places yourself. A single journey by train takes 3 to 4 hours and from there it is difficult to get to various sights. That’s why I think this day trip to The Hamptons is ideal.”
