 740 Eighth Avenue

The Torch is a real eye-catcher thanks to its unique shape and can be seen from all over the city. And the name says it all: the top of the building is inspired by the torch of the Statue of Liberty.

The top 500 feet (150 metres) of the building consist of a spiral glass staircase with green walls running through it. This has been designed to enable the building to regulate a large part of its own climate.
