A Day in Washington D.C.
The train trip to Washington D.C. from New York takes 3 to 3.5 hours. After enjoying the scenery along the way, you’ll arrive in Washington D.C. in the morning. A 2-course lunch with priority seating at the Hard Rock Cafe is included. Before and after lunch, you have plenty of time to explore the city.
Enjoy the Hop on Hop off bus tour of the capital, where you can hop off at any of the sights. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes and clothes, as you won’t be returning until late in the evening. It’s advised to bring a small bag with water, snacks, and sunscreen during the summer months.

Sightseeing in Washington D.C.
The bus stops at or near, among others, the US Capitol, the Library of Congress, Georgetown and of course, the White House. There is plenty of time to visit the Lincoln, Vietnam and Korean memorials and even see the famous ‘Changing of the Guard’ at Arlington Cemetery. Be sure to hop back on the bus to be in time for the train back to New York.
